Terms and Conditions

By purchasing a ticket, vendor booth, artist/craft booth, exhibitor space, or food/beverage truck space for Savannah Comic Con & Savannah Animazing Anime & Video Game Expo (collectively referred to as “the Events”), you (“Attendee,” “Vendor,” “Exhibitor,” or “Participant”) agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

 

1. Ticket, Booth Purchases & Admission

• All sales are final. No refunds, exchanges, or transfers will be issued unless the event is fully canceled and not rescheduled.

• Tickets and booths are non-transferable and may not be resold.

• Attendees and vendors must provide a valid ID matching the name on their purchasefor entry.

• The Events reserve the right to deny entry or remove any attendee, vendor, or participant who violates these Terms and Conditions, engages in slander, or causes harm to the reputation of the Events. No refunds will be issued in such cases.

 

2. Refunds, Cancellations & Force Majeure

• All sales are final. No refunds, exchanges, or transfers will be issued unless the event is fully canceled and not rescheduled.

• Event Rescheduling: If the Events are rescheduled due to weather, natural disasters, or unforeseen circumstances, tickets will be honored for the new date. No refunds will be provided in such cases.

• Event Cancellation: If the Events are fully canceled by the organizers and not rescheduled, ticket holders will receive a full refund. No additional compensation will be provided.

• Force Majeure: The Events are not liable for delays, cancellations, or disruptionscaused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to weather conditions, natural disasters, acts of God, or national emergencies.

• No-Show Policy: No refunds will be provided for no-shows or for attendees who are unable to attend for any reason.

 

3. Code of Conduct

• Respectful Behavior: All attendees, vendors, and participants must behave respectfully towards staff, other attendees, vendors, and guests.

• Harassment & Disruptive Conduct: Harassment, discrimination, threats, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the event without a refund.

• Dress Code: Attendees must adhere to a family-friendly dress code. Costumes or outfits deemed offensive, excessively revealing, or inappropriate will not be permitted.

• Prohibited Items: The following items are strictly prohibited:

• Illegal substances

• Alcohol (unless provided by the venue)

• Any items that could cause harm or disruption

• Weapons Policy:

• Real weapons are strictly prohibited.

• Prop weapons must be inspected and approved at our weapons check station upon entry.

• Any unsafe or inappropriate replica weapons will be banned from the event.

 

4. Vendor, Exhibitor & Food Truck Conduct

• Professional Behavior: Vendors, artists, exhibitors, and food trucks must behave professionally and respectfully towards staff, attendees, and other vendors.

• Any vendor, artist, or exhibitor found to be rude, disrespectful, or engaging in inappropriate behavior will be removed from the event without a refundand may be banned from future events.

• Booth Assignment:

• Booth assignments are at the discretion of event management and may be changed without notice.

• Vendor Liability:

• Vendors are responsible for their merchandise, booth setup, and any damage caused to the venue or other vendors.

• Compliance with Laws:

• Vendors must comply with all local, state, and federal laws, including but not limited to tax obligations, health and safety regulations, and intellectual property laws.

 

5. Dispute Fee Policy

 

By purchasing a ticket, vendor booth, artist/craft booth, exhibitor space, or food/beverage truck space, you agree to the following dispute resolution terms:

1. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes:

• If a chargeback or dispute is filed against a payment made to Savannah Comic Con & Savannah Animazing Anime & Video Game Expo, the customer/vendor may be held responsible for any fees incurred due to the dispute.

• A non-refundable $15 dispute fee will be charged to the customer/vendor if the dispute is filed and not resolved in their favor.

2. Mandatory Fee Payment Before Entry or Booth Setup:

• If a dispute results in a chargeback and is later resolved in favor of Savannah Comic Con & Savannah Animazing Anime & Video Game Expo, the $15 dispute fee must be paid in cash at the event before the attendee or vendor is allowed to check in or set up their booth.

• Failure to pay the dispute fee at check-in will result in denied entry or booth setup privileges.

3. Preventing Disputes:

• Customers and vendors are encouraged to contact event support before filing a dispute to resolve any concerns regarding their purchase.

 

6. Liability & Release

• Personal Injury: The Events are not responsible for any personal injury, illness, or property damage incurred during the event. Attendees participate at their own risk.

• Lost or Stolen Items: The Events are not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.

• Force Majeure: The Events are not liable for any delays or cancellations due to circumstances beyond their control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of God, war, terrorism, and government regulations.

 

7. Slander & Defamation Policy

• The Events reserve the right to deny entry or remove any attendee, vendor, or exhibitor who engages in slander, defamation, or any action that harms the reputation of the Events.

• No refunds will be issued to individuals removed for slander, defamation, or spreading false statements that may negatively impact the Events.

 

8. Photography & Media Release

• By attending, you consent to be photographed, filmed, or recorded by the Events or their partners for promotional purposes.

• No compensation will be provided for the use of your image in future marketing, advertising, or promotions.

• Restricted Photography: Attendees are prohibited from taking photographs or recordings in designated no-photography zones.

 

9. Intellectual Property

• Trademark & Copyright:

• All logos, images, and materials related to the Events are protected by trademark and copyright laws. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

• Vendor Content:

• Vendors and exhibitors must ensure they have the legal rights to sell or display any intellectual property at the event.

 

10. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

• These terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Georgia.

• Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Savannah, Georgia.

• The prevailing party in any dispute shall be entitled to recover reasonable attorney’s fees and costs.

 

11. Amendments & Policy Updates

• The Events reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time.

• Any changes will be communicated via the event website or official channels.

Acknowledgment

 

By purchasing a ticket, vendor booth, exhibitor space, artist/craft booth, or food truck space, you acknowledge and accept these Terms and Conditions.

 

 

Failure to comply may result in removal from the event without refund.
